todays challenge layout
this is my first layout of my challenge i got to use lots of scraps of paper on the paperquilting on the cirles, the boys were enjoying the carousel ride at euro disney. didnt get to do any more layouts today been working all day so i will do another later or start tomorrows laterwhen the boys are in bed, and i have some peace with out little fingers intefering and moving stuff they just cant resist to have a poke about with.
can anyone suggest a good photo editor to use to tweek my pictures. and has anyone any tips on digital scrapbooking??? ive seen llots of posts about it but what exactly is it and how do you get started with it any tips appreciated.

Oh I have a thing about circles at the moment too!
I have a very old version of Paint Shop Pro (v7, it came free with something)to do more tweaking than just the quick fix and cropping that I do in my basic programme (Photo Album which is the software that came with my first digital camera and it does the job for me)
Anyhow, I'm not very whizzy with image programs but http://www.optikvervelabs.com/ has a fantastic free download that you use as a plug in with many of the other major programmes around. I would recommend a version of Photoshop Elements, mine is V2 (free with camera!) but V5 has just been released around the £50-£60 mark from Amazon.
You get great effects with this plug in with just a few clicks. I wouldn't be without it.
Oh and Photoshop Elements is fine for digiscrapping too - my old and out of date version is what I used for the pages on my blog (scroll down) when I had a little play a couple of weeks ago. I guess the newer version gives more options and settings though.
Hi Sandy! thanks for stopping by my blog :) Love your challenge to use up your existing stash - I'm doing the same (although it's not going all too well at the moment - especially wiht all the new releases on the horizon!!!!). I can't see any of your LO's though - just little boxes with crosses in - not sure if it's my computer or not though :(
